“60 MINUTES” IS #1

60 MINUTES was America’s #1 primetime program in viewers for the fourth time this season. The CBS Newsmagazine drew 9.2 million viewers and made the list of America’s top 10 primetime programs for the 23rd consecutive time.

The broadcast ranked at #3 or higher for 14 of those weeks, including the last seven times. 60 MINUTES has finished at #5 or higher 18 times this season.

60 MINUTES was also a top 10 broadcast in demos, scoring 1.5/08 in adults 25-54 and 1.1/08 in adults 18-49, both tied for #3. Compared to last week, 60 MINUTES was up +15% in adults 25-54, +22% in adults 18-49 and +16% in viewers.

Sunday’s 60 MINUTES featured Lesley Stahl’s investigation of the W.H.O’s inquiry into the origins of COVID-19, a rare look inside the robotics workshop of Boston Dynamics reported by Anderson Cooper and Jon Wertheim’s story about hall of fame sportswriter Dave Kindred, whose retirement beat covering a girls high school basketball team helped him through personal challenges.
