“CBS SATURDAY MORNING” POSTS NARROWEST TOTAL VIEWER AND DEMO GAP EVER WITH ABC AND NBC FOR A BROADCAST YEAR

CBS SATURDAY MORNING, formerly known as CBS THIS MORNING: SATURDAY, posted its narrowest gap ever with “Good Morning America Saturday” and “Today Saturday” for a broadcast season in total viewers and the adults 25-54 demographic, since CBS News broadcast’s debut in 2012, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings.

For the season, the broadcast delivered 1.92 million viewers with 395,000 of them in the adults 25-54 demographic, which is most desired by those who advertise in news.

CBS SATURDAY MORNING closed the gap in viewers with “Saturday Today” by 35% and by 12% with “Good Morning America Saturday.” In the adults 25-54 demo, CBS SATURDAY MORNING cut into “Saturday Today’s” lead by 35% and “Good Morning America Saturday” by 22%.

For Third Quarter 2021, the CBS SATURDAY MORNING was the only broadcast up in total viewers (+13%) and adults 25-54 (+5%) verse the same quarter last year. “Good Morning America Saturday” was – 2% in total viewers and -13% in adults 25-54 while “Today Saturday” was -3% in total viewers and -5% in adults 25-54.
