“CBS MORNINGS” DELIVERS LARGEST AUDIENCE SINCE LAUNCH

THE BROADCAST DELIVERS DOUBLE-DIGIT PERCENTAGE GAINS IN WOMEN 25-54 FOR THE WEEK WHILE THE COMPETITION IS DOWN

CBS MORNINGS, CBS News’ flagship morning program, delivered its largest audience since its launch.

The broadcast delivered 2.6 million viewers (+1%), its highest delivery in 14 weeks (since the week of August 30), while NBC was down (-1%) according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Dec. 10.

In the adults 25-54 demo, the program delivered 565,000 viewers (+8%, its best in 30 weeks, since the week of May 10) while NBC was down -5% and ABC was down -4%.

Among women 25-54, CBS MORNINGS delivered double-digit percentage increases (+14%, 337k, highest in 32 weeks, since the week of April 26) while NBC was down -7% and ABC was down -1%. CBS MORNINGS gained four share points, attracting 25% of the audience, the largest since the week of March 8.

Launched Sept. 7, CBS MORNINGS delivers two hours each day of original reporting, breaking news, top-level newsmaker interviews and artful storytelling from the new, state-of-the art studio inside the ViacomCBS world headquarters in the heart of Times Square. CBS MORNINGS, with co-hosts Gayle King, Tony Dokoupil and Nate Burleson, combines impactful journalism and rich storytelling that leaves viewers more informed, more prepared and more uplifted to take on the day.
