Lara Logan’s 60 MINUTES report from the war in Afghanistan, “A Relentless Enemy,” has won a DuPont-Columbia Journalism award. It was the 14th DuPont award won by the program and the third in four years. Logan and her team reported the story about U.S. forces being attacked by enemy fighters who enjoy sanctuary near the border of Pakistan. They came under fire each day. Third Straight Top 10 Showing for America’s #1 News Program 60 MINUTES finished at #5 in viewers and households, the third straight week the broadcast made Nielsen’s Top 10 List. The program drew 16.98 million viewers, adding 2.51 million over last week (from 14.47 million, +17 percent).
