“CBS THIS MORNING” IS THE ONLY MORNING NEWS BROADCAST TO POST YEAR-TO-YEAR GAINS AMONG VIEWERS

“CBS This Morning: Saturday” is Up +33% Year-to-Year in Viewers,
+20% in Adults 25-54 and is in its Closest Competitive Position with NBC
In Viewers and Adults 25-54 Ever

 

CBS THIS MORNING

          CBS THIS MORNING is the only network morning news broadcast to post year-to-year gains among viewers (+11%, 3.35m from 3.02m) compared to a year ago, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Oct. 30.

         CBS THIS MORNING gained +330,000 viewers compared to the same week last year and closed the viewership gap with NBC by 740,000 viewers with ABC by 880,000 viewers.

         CBS THIS MORNING is the only network morning news broadcast to maintain its rating in adults 25-54 (0.8/07), the demographic most important to those who advertise in news.

          Season-to-date, CBS THIS MORNING is up +10% in viewers (3.38m from 3.08m) and even in adults 25-54 (0.8/07) compared to last year.

 

CBS THIS MORNING: SATURDAY

           CBS THIS MORNING: SATURDAY is up +20% in adults 25-54 (0.6/05 from 0.5/03) and +33% in viewers (2.46m from 1.85m), compared to the same week a year ago, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Oct. 31.

           CBS THIS MORNING: SATURDAY finished in the closest competitive position for any CBS Saturday morning news broadcast with NBC in viewers (-200,000) and adults 25-54 (-0.1) ever.

           Season-to-date, CBS THIS MORNING: SATURDAY is up +10% in viewers (2.17m from 1.97m) and even in adults 25-54 (0.5/04) compared to last season.
