CBS NEWS RATINGS HIGHLIGHTS FOR THE WEEK OF APRIL 11

CBS MORNINGS

  • Delivered 2.5 million viewers, with 524,000 of them adults 25-54 and 334,000 women 25-54, for the week ending April 15. (Watch CBS MORNINGS)

  • Was the only network morning program to grow (+2%) in viewers from the previous week, while NBC and ABC fell -1%.

  • Delivered some of the narrowest gaps with the competition all season, and has gained +4 audience share points in key women 25-54 demographic compared to the same week last year.

  • Has cut into NBC and ABC’s leads for the season in the adults 25-54 demo by 13% and 9%, respectively, versus last year.

  • Is delivering the tightest gaps in adults 25-54 and women 25-54 for a season ever (since at least 1991) versus NBC and ABC.

CBS EVENING NEWS with NORAH O’DONNELL

  • Delivered 4.7 million viewers, with 818,000 of them adults 25-54, the week ending April 15. (Watch the CBS EVENING NEWS)

  • Delivering the tightest demo gap with NBC this season in 27 years (since 1994-1995), and with ABC since 2018-2019.

  • Is closing the adults 25-54 gap with NBC by 12% and ABC by 13%, compared to last year. In viewers, CBS has closed the gap with ABC by 8%.

48 HOURS

  • Was Saturday’s #1 non-sports primetime broadcast on April 16. (Watch 48 HOURS)

  • Delivered 2.98 million viewers, with 585,000 of them adults 25-54.

  • Compared to the same night last year, was up +25% in adults 25-54 and +22% in viewers.

CBS SATURDAY MORNING

  • Delivered its best audience in five weeks with 1.9 million viewers, 349,000 of which were in adults 25-54, on April 16. (Watch CBS SATURDAY MORNING)

  • Delivered its tightest gap with NBC ever (since 1997-1998) among women 25-54.

  • Closed the gaps with ABC and NBC in total viewers this season by 14%.

  • Closed the gap with ABC by 17% and with NBC by 15% in adults 25-54.

  • Is delivering the tightest gaps in adults 25-54 this season with NBC and ABC ever, dating to the “Early Show” days in 1997-1998.

  • Among viewers, CBS SATURDAY MORNING is delivering its tightest gap with NBC ever (since 1997-1998), and with ABC since 2006-2007.
