“FACE THE NATION” SCORES ITS BEST DELIVERY IN TOTAL VIEWERS IN 31 WEEKS AND ITS BEST ADULTS 25-54 PERFORMANCE IN 30 WEEKS
“FACE THE NATION” POSTS MASSIVE YEAR-TO-YEAR PERCENTAGE GAINS AND OUTPACES THE COMPETITION: UP +47% IN ADULTS 25-54 AND +39% IN TOTAL VIEWERS

CBS News’ FACE THE NATION was the #1 Sunday morning public affairs show and posted double-digit year-to-year growth, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Sunday, Nov. 22. FACE THE NATION scored 4.1 million viewers and delivered 828,000 in adults 25-54, the demographic most important to those who advertise in news.
FACE THE NATION posted its best delivery in 31 weeks among total viewers and its best adults 25-54 performance in 30 weeks. FACE THE NATION also saw its largest lead in total viewers over NBC since April and its largest lead over ABC since mid-May. Among adults 25-54, FACE THE NATION posted its largest lead over NBC since January 2016.
FACE THE NATION has beaten NBC in total viewers five times out of six weeks and three times out of six weeks on adults 25-54.
Compared to last year, FACE THE NATION is up +47% in adults 25-54 (from 526,000) and +39% in total viewers (from 2.95m), outpacing NBC and ABC in growth for both categories.
Season to-date, FACE THE NATION also posted double-digit percentage gains in viewers (+22%) and adults 25-54 (+14%).
Sunday’s FACE THE NATION broadcast featured moderator Margaret Brennan’s interviews with Dr. Anthony Fauci; former National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster; senior adviser and spokesperson for Vice President-Elect Kamala Harris Symone Sanders; CVS CEO Larry Merlo; and former FDA commissioner Dr. Scott Gottlieb. Sunday’s show also featured reports on COVID-19 from CBS News national correspondent Mark Strassmann in Atlanta and CBS News senior foreign correspondent Elizabeth Palmer joined Brennan with the latest from London as infections rise worldwide.
