“CBS THIS MORNING: SATURDAY” POSTS SMALLEST DEMO GAP WITH GMA SATURDAY SINCE DEBUT IN 2012
CBS THIS MORNING: SATURDAY posted its smallest gap in the adults 25-54 demographic with “Good Morning America Saturday” (-146k) since the CBS News broadcast’s debut in 2012, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Saturday, March 29.
The broadcast delivered 1.9 million viewers with 415,000 of them in the adults 25-54 demographic, which is most desired by those who advertise in news. This was the program’s best delivery in five weeks among total viewers and the adults 25-54 demographic.
For the season so far, CBS THIS MORNING: SATURDAY has closed the gap in viewers with “Saturday Today” by 37% and by 8% with “Good Morning America Saturday” when compared to the same period a year ago. In the adults 25-54 demo, CBS THIS MORNING: SATURDAY has cut into “Saturday Today’s” lead by 41% and “Good Morning America Saturday” by 20%.
