CBS NEWS RATINGS HIGHLIGHTS FOR THE WEEK ENDING JUNE 6

 

  • FACE THE NATION was the #1 public affairs program on Sunday among all viewers, it’s 26th week in the top spot this season. FACE THE NATION delivered 2.7 million viewers with 452,000 of them in the key adults 25-54 demographic. For the season, FACE THE NATION is #1 with total viewers, with more growth than its closest competitor MEET THE PRESS. FACE THE NATION has finished #1 with viewers 26 times this season.

  • CBS THIS MORNING is delivering the narrowest season-to-date gaps with the competition in total viewers and the key 25-54 demographic on record, dating back to 1991. For the week, CBS THIS MORNING delivered 2.6 million total viewers with 521,000 of them in the adults 25-54 demographic.

  • CBS THIS MORNING: SATURDAY is posting the smallest gaps ever in total viewers and adults 25-54 this season with SATURDAY TODAY and GMA SATURDAY since the show launched in 2012. For the week, CBS THIS MORNING: SATURDAY delivered 1.9 million total viewers with 385,000 of them in the adults 25-54 demographic. CBS THIS MORNING: SATURDAY posted its strongest viewer total in eight weeks and was up 7% from the same week last year, while its competitors were down. CBS THIS MORNING: SATURDAY drew 30% of the three-network audience in the time period, its highest level ever.

  • For the season, CBS EVENING NEWS WITH NORAH O’DONNELL is in its strongest competitive position with NBC NIGHTLY NEWS in the key adults 25-54 demo in six years and is posting its tightest margins with ABC WORLD NEWS TONIGHT in two years. For the week, the broadcast delivered 4.9 million viewers with 868,000 of them in the adults 25-54 demo. The CBS EVENING NEWS ranked as the #1 telecast on the CBS Television Network among viewers Tuesday through Thursday and was #1 with adults 25-54 on the network Tuesday.

  • 60 MINUTES PRESENTS (encore) was Sunday's #1 primetime program in viewers, delivering 7.06 million viewers.
