"FACE THE NATION” IS #1 IN VIEWERS ON SUNDAY, JUNE 6, ITS 26TH WEEK IN THE TOP SPOT THIS SEASON
CBS News’ FACE THE NATION was the #1 show in total viewers on Sunday, June 6, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings. FACE THE NATION delivered 2.7 million viewers, and in adults 25-54, the demographic most important to those who advertise in news, FACE THE NATION delivered 452,000 viewers. This Sunday was FACE THE NATION’s 26th week at the #1 rank this season among total viewers.
FACE THE NATION ranks #1 among total viewers season-to-date, with more growth than its closest competitor, NBC.
Sunday’s FACE THE NATION broadcast featured John Dickerson’s interviews with Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg, former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV), former FDA commissioner Dr. Scott Gottlieb and Bank of America Chairman & CEO Brian Moynihan. The broadcast also featured a reporter’s notebook from CBS News senior White House and political correspondent Ed O’Keefe on location in Guatemala ahead of Vice President Kamala Harris’ historic first international trip that featured his interview with Guatemalan President Alejandro Giammattei.
