CBS Sports Network presents ROLL TIDE TAKEOVER, a slate of seven classic Alabama football games, which will air leading up to the Crimson Tide’s 2012 spring football game. Beginning Thursday, April 12 through Saturday, April 14 fans can re-live exciting games from the past, including two contests from Alabama’s 2011 National Championship season.


Thursday, April 12

Alabama 40, Florida 39 (10/22/1999) – 8:00 PM, ET

Alabama breaks Florida’s 30-game home winning streak after Shaun Alexander’s 24-yard touchdown run and Chris Kemp’s extra point seal the overtime victory.


Alabama 38, Arkansas 14 (9/24/11) – 12:00 AM, ET

The Crimson Tide scores touchdowns on an interception return and a punt return to defeat Arkansas for the fifth consecutive time.


Alabama 38, Florida 10 (10/1/11) – 1:00 AM, ET

Trent Richardson’s 181 yards rushing leads Alabama to a lopsided win over Florida.


Friday, April 13

Alabama 26, Auburn 21 (11/27/09) – 7:00 AM, ET

Alabama’s 79-yard touchdown drive with 1:24 remaining leads the Crimson Tide over Auburn in the Iron Bowl and keeps Alabama’s undefeated season and national title hopes alive.


Alabama 27, LSU 21 (11/8/08) – 4:00 PM, ET

Alabama beats LSU 27-21 in overtime in front of a packed Tiger Stadium crowd in Nick Saban’s return to Baton Rouge as coach of the Crimson Tide. 


Alabama 24, LSU 15 (11/7/09) – 5:00 PM, ET

Julio Jones’ 73-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter leads Alabama to a 24-15 win over LSU and a spot in the SEC Championship game for the second consecutive season. 


Saturday, April 14

SEC Championship: Alabama 32, Florida 13 (12/5/09) – 9:00 AM, ET

Undefeated Alabama hands Florida its first loss of the season behind quarterback Greg McElory and Heisman Trophy winner Mark Ingram.
