Jon Rothstein has been a college basketball insider for CBS Sports Network since 2010 and a contributor to the CBS Television Network since 2016. He regularly appears on INSIDE COLLEGE BASKETBALL, CBS Sports Network’s pre-game and post-game studio highlight show and also serves as a sideline reporter. Rothstein also serves as host of One2One, the Network’s popular interview program and has contributed to CBS Sports' Men of March series in each of the past few seasons.
In addition to his role with CBS Sports, Rothstein serves as a contributor to the New York Times' college basketball coverage. He has also served as a national columnist for both FanRag Sports and CBSSports.com and done digital work for Sports Illustrated. Rothstein also hosts the "College Hoops Today" Podcast available on iTunes, the only college basketball podcast which is available 52 weeks out of the calendar year. He also serves as the college basketball insider for both WFAN in New York and CBS Sports Radio.
Prior to joining CBS Sports, Rothstein worked for both ESPN Radio in New York, as well as MSG Network, where he served as college basketball insider from 2007-10. His print work has also been featured on FOXSports.com, Basketball Times, and Scout.com. Rothstein also makes several national speaking appearances where he discusses both leadership and the state of college basketball.
A graduate of Ithaca College, where was recognized as a distinguished young alumnus in sport, Rothstein is also on the selection committee of the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame’s Jerry West Outstanding Shooting Guard Award, which is given annually to the top shooting guard in college basketball.
