Julianne Viani


Julianne Viani joined CBS Sports Network as an analyst for the Network’s coverage of women’s college basketball in 2013.


In addition to her work on CBS Sports Network, Viani covers a wide-array of sports on ESPN and Pac 12 Network. She also serves as a contributor to MSG/NY Liberty and the NBA for NextVR, the first ever live sports coverage in Virtual Reality. She began her broadcasting career calling women’s college basketball games for Marist College Radio Network.


Viani graduated from Marist College with a Masters degree in Public Administration where she played division I basketball. During her time playing she was MAAC Most Valuable Player, two-time All-MAAC selection and four-time MAAC All-Academic selection. In 2009, Viani was named Marist College's Female Athlete of the Year and was the first athlete at Marist College to go to four NCAA tournaments. She was inducted into the MAAC Basketball Hall of Fame in 2014 in Springfield, Massachusetts. Viani also spent time in Europe playing professional basketball.
