Sept. 27 Final Airing on Paramount+ and CBS Sports Network

CBS Sports, as the English-language home of the 2023 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup Final, will provide live match and on-site studio coverage on Paramount+ and CBS Sports Network of the Inter Miami CF vs. Houston Dynamo championship fixture on Wednesday, Sept. 27.

CBS Sports’ coverage on Paramount+ and CBS Sports Network begins at 7:00 with a live 90-minute pre-match show from the field of DRV PNK Stadium. The pre-match show leads right into the match’s scheduled kickoff time of 8:30 PM, ET, as Inter Miami CF, undefeated with Lionel Messi on the pitch, hosts Héctor Herrera’s Houston Dynamo, the 2018 U.S. Open Cup winner.

Kate Abdo, Micah Richards, Clint Dempsey and Charlie Davies will lead CBS Sports’ on-site studio coverage, with Nico Cantor and Susannah Collins providing reports pitchside and from around the stadium.

Also live on site, Andrés Cordero will conduct play-by-play alongside match analyst Ray Hudson on Paramount+ and CBS Sports Network. Christina Unkel will contribute to coverage as rules analyst.

Following the match’s conclusion, the on-field studio crew of Abdo, Richards, Dempsey and Davies will wrap the action as part of an hour-long post-match show.

In addition to live match coverage, Paramount+ will also offer a second-screen “Star Cam” experience that will spotlight Messi, who set up two late goals in the Open Cup semifinal that sent the match to extra time and has scored eight goals since joining Inter Miami CF.

In addition to match coverage the evening of Sept. 27, CBS Sports Golazo Network will provide in-depth analysis of the final throughout its live studio programming, including MORNING FOOTY, BOX 2 BOX and SCORELINE. Following the conclusion of Open Cup final coverage on Sept. 27, CBS Sports Golazo Network will air the second episode of KICKIN’ IT, which features the second part of an interview with Thierry Henry.
