CBS SPORTS' WILD WEEKEND OF COLLEGE BASKETBALL FEATURES WOMEN'S AND MEN'S MATCH-UPS ON SATURDAY, JAN. 9 AND SUNDAY, JAN. 10

No. 1-ranked Men and Women Highlight Schedule

  

CBS Sports' wild weekend of NCAA Basketball tips off on Saturday, Jan. 9 (2:00-6:00 PM, ET) with a women's doubleheader featuring four of the nation's top ranked teams. *No. 6-ranked Ohio State visits *No. 19-ranked Michigan State (2:00 PM, ET) followed by *No. 7-ranked North Carolina battling *No. 1-ranked Connecticut (4:00 PM, ET).

 

On Sunday, Jan. 10 (4:30-6:30 PM, ET) men's action follows CBS Sports' NFL coverage of the AFC Wild Card game as No. 1-ranked Kansas takes on *No. 16-ranked Tennessee.

 

Saturday, Beth Mowins is joined by Deb Antonelli for the Ohio State-Michigan State contest.  Ken Mack and Mark Grant produce and direct, respectively.  Don Criqui calls play-by-play for the North Carolina-Connecticut game along with analyst Rebecca Lobo. Ross Schneiderman produces and Suzanne Smith directs. 

 

On Sunday, Verne Lundquist joins CBS Sports' lead college basketball analyst, Clark Kellogg to call the action for Kansas-Tennessee from Thompson-Boling Assembly Center & Arena in Knoxville, Tenn. Bob Dekas, CBS Sports' Coordinating Producer for college basketball, produces and Chris Svendsen directs.   

  

AT THE HALF®, CBS Sports' halftime studio show is hosted on Saturday by Tim Brando, who will be joined by Sports Illustrated's Seth Davis and CBS College Sports Network's Ann Schatz. James Brown and Davis will be on the set on Sunday. AT THE HALF®, live from the CBS Broadcast Center in New York City, provides all the day's news, scores and highlights.   Vin DeVito produces and Linda Malino directs on Saturday. On Sunday, Eric Mann produces and Bob Matina directs.  Harold Bryant is Vice President, Production, CBS Sports.
