CBS SPORTS’ SCHEDULE FOR ITS 60th NFL SEASON HIGHLIGHTED BY TOP AFC GAMES AND MORE MARQUEE NFC CROSSOVER GAMES THAN EVER BEFORE

REMATCH OF EPIC AFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME – KANSAS CITY-NEW ENGLAND – IS FEATURED IN WEEK 14

Marking its 60th season broadcasting the NFL, CBS Sports’ 2019 NFL ON CBS schedule begins on Sunday, Sept. 8 highlighted by top games from the AFC and more marquee NFC crossover matchups than ever before.

THE NFL ON CBS schedule features games being played in the NFL’s highest-rated and most-watched window each week, the 4:25 PM, ET national game on doubleheader weeks. Highlighting the schedule is the rematch of last season’s epic AFC Championship Game, which was the second most-watched AFC Championship Game in 42 years – Kansas City vs. New England – in Week 14 (12/8), as well as New England-Philadelphia in Week 11 (11/17).

THE NFL ON CBS schedule also features more marquee cross-flex games than ever before, including four of the eight doubleheader weeks anchored by games in the 4:25 PM, ET national window highlighted by Dallas-N.Y. Jets in Week 6 (10/13), New Orleans-Seattle in Week 3 (9/22) and Minnesota-Chicago in Week 4 (9/29).

THE NFL ON CBS schedule also is highlighted by the annual Thanksgiving Day broadcast featuring Buffalo at Dallas in Week 13 (11/28); a London game in Week 8 (10/27) featuring Cincinnati vs. L.A. Rams, as well as compelling early window 1:00 PM, ET games: Oakland-Green Bay in Week 7 (10/20) and Pittsburgh-N.Y. Jets in Week 16 (12/22).

In addition, the CBS schedule features nine appearances each by Super Bowl champions New England Patriots, the Pittsburgh Steelers and Kansas City Chiefs; and 10 appearances by the new-look Cleveland Browns led by Baker Mayfield and Odell Beckham, Jr.

CBS will broadcast a doubleheader in Week 3 and Week 4, coinciding with the launch of the primetime entertainment season, allowing for maximum exposure and promotion for CBS’ new fall shows and schedule.
