“The Golazo Show” Presented Live on CBS Sports Network and CBS All Access Features Every Goal from Every Match

CBS Sports Will Provide Eight Hours of Live Coverage Across Multiple Platforms For All UEFA Champions League Group Stage Matchdays, Beginning Oct. 20-21

October 13, 2020 -- CBS Sports expands its extensive multiplatform coverage of the UEFA Champions League with “The Golazo Show,” a live whip-around program featuring every goal from every match. The show will air when six matches are being played simultaneously during the UEFA Champions League Group Stage matchdays, beginning Tuesday, Oct. 20 and Wednesday, Oct. 21 at 3:00 PM, ET. The show will capture all the goals, memorable moments and highlights along with expert analysis and commentary.

“The Golazo Show” will be part of CBS Sports’ eight hours of live coverage across multiple platforms for each UEFA Champions League Group Stage matchday.

The show will air live on CBS Sports Network and CBS All Access and complements ViacomCBS’ coverage of the UEFA Champions League, which will present all matches live on CBS All Access along with select marquee matches also airing on the CBS Television Network and CBS Sports Network through the 2023-24 season.

“With multiple matches being played simultaneously across Europe, we wanted to give soccer fans a fun way to experience that excitement and see every goal from every match as well as all the key moments as they happen,” said Dan Weinberg, Executive Vice President, Programming, CBS Sports. “‘The Golazo Show’ will keep fans updated throughout the day’s action with all the goals and latest results, bringing them highlights as soon as they occur while also providing expert analysis – all at a single destination.”

Additionally, CBS Sports Network and CBS All Access will air “The Golazo Pre-Match Show,” beginning each matchday at 2:30 PM, ET to recap the two early games and set the stage for the remaining six matches.

CBS Sports HQ, the 24/7 streaming sports news network, will bookend CBS Sports’ UEFA Champions League live coverage, starting at 11 AM, ET and capping the day with a post-match show at 6 PM, ET.

The dates for the UEFA Champions Group Stage are: Matchday 1 (Oct. 20-21), Matchday 2 (Oct. 27-28), Matchday 3 (Nov. 3-4), Matchday 4 (Nov. 24-25), Matchday 5 (Dec. 1-2) and Matchday 6 (Dec. 8-9).
