CBS SPORTS BRINGS CONCACAF MEN’S WORLD CUP QUALIFYING COVERAGE ON THE ROAD TO MEXICO CITY FOR CRUCIAL MEXICO VS. USA MATCH ON PARAMOUNT+ AND CBS SPORTS NETWORK

All Matches From Final Qualifying Window to Stream Live on Paramount+

 

CBS Sports announced its coverage plans for the final round of Concacaf Men’s World Cup Qualifiers, highlighted by its full studio and announce team on-site in Mexico City surrounding the Mexico-USA match on Thursday, March 24, streaming live on Paramount+ and airing on CBS Sports Network.

  CBS Sports’ Mexico-USA coverage will begin at 8:30 PM, ET, with host Kate Abdo and analysts Clint Dempsey, Oguchi Onyewu and Charlie Davies, live from the legendary Estadio Azteca. The crew will provide 90 minutes of match preview and analysis leading into the 10:00 PM, ET kickoff time, along with half-time and 30 minutes of post-match reactions.

  Andres Cordero will serve as play-by-play announcer with Maurice Edu as analyst on-site in Mexico. Mexico Women’s National Team player Janelly Farías and CBS Sports’ Jenny Chiu will serve as sideline reporters.

  Additionally, on Wednesday, March 30, CBS Sports will provide studio coverage from the Broadcast Center in New York City, beginning at 8:30 PM, ET, with Abdo, Dempsey, Davies and Onyewu previewing both Costa Rica-US and the overall window. Coverage will conclude with a one-hour post-match show on both CBS Sports Network and Paramount+ wrapping up the final qualifying window.

  All four qualifying matches will start simultaneously at 9:05 PM, ET, streaming live on Paramount+. CBS Sports Network will televise one of the final qualifying matches with the schedule to be determined.

Cordero and Edu will handle play-by-play and analyst roles for the Costa Rica-USA match, with Chiu serving as sideline reporter for the final qualifying match.
