MEDIA ALERT

A NEW ‘FRIEND’ GETS SOME ‘THERAPY’

Longtime ‘Friend’ and Emmy nominee Matt LeBlanc (star of the SHOWTIME comedy series EPISODES) will guest star in the network’s comedy series WEB THERAPY on Tuesday, September 3rd at 11 P.M. ET/PT.  LeBlanc appears in two episodes as “Nick Jericho,” a compulsive online gambler who hopes Fiona’s “expert” advice will stop his addiction before his wife intervenes, but to Fiona, Nick is a handsome man who should keep rolling the dice. This marks the third consecutive season the series has featured a new Friends co-star (season one included Courteney Cox, while David Schwimmer appeared in season two).

Season three finds Fiona (Kudrow) coming to terms with the new landscape of her life – her politically disgraced husband, Kip (Victor Garber), has run off with his male campaign manager; Fiona’s mother (Lily Tomlin) has started up a rival business called “Net Therapy” and has poached Fiona’s assistant Jerome (Dan Bucatinsky) to run it; her romantic friendship with media-mogul Austen (Alan Cumming) is on the rocks, now that he has fathered a child with hyper-sexualized Gina (Jennifer Elise Cox); she’s being investigated for campaign finance improprieties; and her unpublished manuscript is being adapted into a Broadway musical without her consent!

WEB THERAPY is created by Kudrow, Don Roos & Dan Bucatinsky for Is or Isn’t Entertainment.  Roos continues to serve as director of all ten episodes.
