New “Charmed One” on “Charmed”
In the new season of The CW’s “Charmed,” Lucy Barrett will join Melonie Diaz (“Mel”) and Sarah Jeffery (“Maggie”) as the new “Charmed One.” Barrett’s character’s will be revealed in the new season, but we meet her as an artist, with a wild, unpredictable love for life and a one-of-a-kind view of the world that serves her well in her art, which is her life’s passion. She’s fun, irreverent, impulsive, strong-willed, and will bring a brand-new energy to the Power of Three.
Born outside of Melbourne in Geelong, Australia, Barrett graduated with a degree in Musical Theatre, Dance and Music Production from the APO Arts Academy in South Melbourne, Australia.
Barrett is best known for her leading role on the popular web-series “Co-Ed,” produced by The Duplass Brothers, and will next be seen in the feature film “Black Site” opposite Jason Clarke & Michelle Monaghan, as well as the feature “Sissy” from producers Lisa Shaunessy, John De Margheriti and Jason Taylor.
Additional credits include the acclaimed television series “Bloom” and the revival of the police drama “Halifax Retribution,” as well as the iconic “Neighbors.” Her other series credits include the comedic drama “The Wrong Girl,” “Seven Types of Ambiguity” and “Offspring.”
She currently resides in Los Angeles.
