Pat Dugan in “DC’s Stargirl”
Luke Wilson stars as Pat Dugan, mentor and stepfather to Courtney (Brec Bassinger), on The CW’s drama “DC’s Stargirl.”
Wilson has established himself as of one of the most versatile actors of his generation with his indelible performances in broad comedies, thoughtful dramas and provocative independent features. His film credits include Wes Anderson’s “Bottle Rocket,” “Rushmore” and “The Royal Tenenbaums,” as well as “The Skeleton Twins,” opposite Bill Hader and Kristin Wiig; “Old School,” with Will Ferrell and Vince Vaughn; the “Legally Blonde” franchise with Reese Witherspoon; the “Charlie's Angels” franchise with Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore and Lucy Liu; “Blades of Glory” and “Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy,” also with Ferrell; Mike Judge’s satirical “Idiocracy;” the western “3:10 to Yuma” and the heartwarming “My Dog Skip” and “Hoot,” based on Carl Hiaasen's children’s book of the same name.
Wilson also co-directed, wrote and starred in the short film “Satellite Beach.” In 2005, Wilson wrote and co-directed “The Wendell Baker Story” with his brother Andrew Wilson and starred alongside their brother Owen Wilson, Eva Mendes and Eddie Griffin.
Most recently, Wilson can be seen starring in “All the Bright Places,” directed by Brett Haley and opposite Elle Fanning. Up next, Wilson can be seen starring in Ty Robert’s “12 Mighty Orphans” based on the best-selling novel by the same name.
