Betty Cooper in “Riverdale”
Lili Reinhart stars as Betty Cooper, the sweet, studious and eager-to-please girl-next-door in The CW’s drama “Riverdale.”
Reinhart has quickly amassed an impressive resume as one of Hollywood’s most exciting young actors on screen and is quickly becoming a multi-faceted talent with projects as an executive producer and author.
Reinhart most recently starred and executive produced the coming-of-age drama “Chemical Hearts,” based on the best-selling novel “Our Chemical Hearts,” written by Krystal Sutherland. The film marked Reinhart’s debut in an executive producer role and premiered worldwide on Amazon Prime in August 2020.
Reinhart starred opposite Jennifer Lopez in Lorene Scafaria’s feature film “Hustlers,” which premiered at the 2019 Toronto Film Festival and went on to make over $150 million at the box office. Additionally, the film was nominated for “Best Feature” at the 2019 Gotham Awards and won the New York Film Critics as one of the “Top Films of the Year.” Other film credits include “Galveston,” opposite Elle Fanning and Ben Foster and “Miss Stevens,” opposite Lily Rabe and Timothee Chalamet.
For her role as Betty Cooper, Reinhart has won seven Teen Choice Awards and has been nominated for three People’s Choice Awards for “Favorite Drama TV Star,” as well as “Female TV Star of 2020.” Additionally, the show has been nominated for “Show of the Year” by the 2018 MTV Movie & TV Awards and won Teen Choice and People’s Choice Awards for “Favorite/Choice TV Drama.”
As an author, Reinhart penned “Swimming Lessons,” which is a collection of poems that has been released by St. Martins’ Publishing. Currently, the book is available for purchase worldwide.
Lili is an Ambassador for COVERGIRL. Additionally, she is an activist for mental health and body image and uses her platform to raise awareness to these issues.
